Mind-Bending, Heart-Hitting, Unforgettable
Ace Umbra is the kind of book that completely takes over your mind. It’s not just a story—it’s an experience. A masterful fusion of sci-fi, thriller, romance, and mysticism that left me in awe.

From the very first page, I knew I wasn’t reading something ordinary. The world-building is next level—Cyberdroids, memory-reading detectives, 5D crime scenes... I mean, what?! And yet, it’s not overwhelming. The author balances the tech with such emotional depth, weaving in themes of love, betrayal, memory, and identity in a way that just hits different.

Ace Slavic is such a fascinating protagonist. Rational and mysterious, he’s pulled between two women—Lux and Venus—each representing something deeper than just romance. Lux is fiery, sharp, and unforgettable, while Venus exudes danger and enigma. And Eli? He had me giggling with his impeccable comic timing at the tensest moments—such a smart narrative relief!

The love triangle isn’t just drama—it matters. It adds emotional stakes to an already high-octane plot. The chemistry, especially between Ace and Lux, gave me serious Lucifer vibes (and if you’re a fan of that show, you know that’s a huge compliment!).

What stunned me the most, though, was the world-building. Home Acquity tech, AI metaphysics blended with Hindu mythology—it’s done so seamlessly that you don’t feel like you’re reading something complex. It flows. The narrative has this rare mix of high intellect and deep feeling. The twists? Razor-sharp. The ending? Absolutely mind-blowing. I literally had to pause and just breathe after finishing.

Yes, the narrative style took me a bit to get used to, but once I clicked with it, there was no going back. The book made me question everything I believed about memory, truth, and what it really means to trust someone.

If you’re into smart thrillers, layered characters, and sci-fi with an actual heart—not just flashy tech—Ace Umbra will blow you away.

✨Highly recommended for fans of Black Mirror, Dark, and character-driven mysteries with a twist of the spiritual and philosophical.✨

What a mind-blowing book!
This book consists of all my favourite genres - Romance, Thriller and Sci - Fi. This perfect combination fascinated me alot!

I loved the world building. The inclusion of technology, like the concept of Home Acquity enthralled me! This book was fast paced, and depicted a perfect thriller plot. Also, the language was easy to understand, which allowed me to create a mapping of the situations in my mind.

Lux is the sassy character and I like her, truth be told. Eli is a very hilarious character, who lightens up the tense mood, allowing me to break into a cackle. I found Venus to be very mysterious. Ace, the main character, is also mysterious, but by the end of the book I could conclude that he was very very rational.

The things I liked the most about the book - The ending provided a proper closure for Ace. And the ending in itself was minding blowing! Let me tell you, I wasn't expecting it. The integration of the plot with Hindu mythology is done beautifully. And for those who are unaware of it, it's explained in very simple terms.

Looking for a sci - fi short book that's bound to make you sir on the edge of your chair, this one's the perfect one for you!

A futuristic murder mystery with a love triangle and technology at its heart!
Ace Umbra by P.B. Flower is a sleek, cerebral dive into the soul of modern sci-fi—a story that doesn’t just flirt with the future, it embraces it with arms wide open. This tale is a genre-bender in the best possible way: part high-tech (sexy) whodunit, part metamorphic journey of consciousness, all threaded through a rich tapestry of human emotions.

For more than half of the book, you’re locked in with a razor-sharp mystery that crackles with intelligence and eyes on the dark side of wealth. Clues unfold like digital origami, and every detail feels deliberate. The world-building is bold and unrelenting—technological, shocking, and chillingly plausible. Characters are sparse but essential, each one fulfilling their role with quiet precision, like pieces on a cosmic chessboard. Lux and Ace make the best counterparts, that is until we meet Venus. The perfect love triangle that reads like contemporary romance. A jolt of hot chai to keep the program running.

The storytelling? Immersive. Irreverent with shots of dark satire Like stepping into a future that hums with sentient code and secret truths. You’ll find yourself so deep in the pulse of it all, the real world will blur at the edges.

The book opens with carefully layered intrigue, the final chapters—where revelations about AI and transformation burst forth—brought in mysticism and connections drawing on something even bigger.

Ace Umbra lands as a high-octane and uniquely plotted read. Think of it as a neural dance between mystery and machine, where every page whispers: The future has already begun.

We are drawn to natural beauty. The standards of beauty vary across different cultures. Even then, some things are universal, like cats. Okay, okay. Maybe not everyone swoons over cute cats. Some of us are dog lovers. Others prefer exotic animals as pets.

This proves there’s no universal formula for what makes us like something. So how does societal conditioning work? What makes something unnatural click?

The most effective way to condition someone is from birth. After that, it requires...

Dreams - A construct of Mind and Experiences  I've wondered and

I've wondered and written about dreams a lot. It is one thing that has forced me to ponder upon constantly besides the workings of seeds. Yeah, I know. I am still baffled how a banana seed grows into such a huge tree and continues to branch off into shoots that grow into new trees!

Let me get back on track... Dreams. So yes, my husband was recently sharing his metaphysical take on dreams. He said, 'Dreams are created by external triggers from surroundings and memories. Senses are still...

Ideals

As humans, we are held accountable for our actions. It's not out of the ordinary, though. We must face the consequences for our actions. Even in the wild, nature's law applies. However, nature is unbiased, and humans aren't. We take refuge in humanity when we miss the mark while imposing our unattainable ideals on each other.

Can we abide by societal rules, follow law, maintain order, and devote unreservedly to our personal and religious beliefs? Not unless we are superhumans. We all...

There is no denying the impact of our consumer choices on the planet and society. We need understand that consumerism is a product of our artificial society. It came about when some of us stumbled upon things they could sell and profit from. And these things weren't necessary for our survival. And...
